Snorkeling with Turtles

ALOOOOHA!

I woke up Tuesday morning with the itch to go to the beach! Shea had the day off, so right after I got off work we packed up our stuff and headed out. On the North Shore of Oahu, we found TURTLES! It was so fun to snorkel with our new friends. We made sure not to touch them or be too close to the beautiful Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. We love our Hawaiian Honu. Honu is the a Amakua (guardian spirit) for wisdom and good luck, both of which I need this week to pass my university exams.

It has been fun to live on the Island with my best friend, Shea. Lately, we have been more adventures, trying to go out and explore every chance we get. It's been so fun, and so beneficial. We get to know each other better as we participate in activities. I love seeing Shea get overly excited every time we see a fish or sea creature. His face lights up like a child's on Christmas morning. If you now me, I will never pass up the opportunity to go to the beach and Shea will never pass up the opportunity to go snorkeling. It's a Win-Win.


Advice from a girl who loves exploring:
Never miss the opportunity to go out exploring, you never know what you will find and learn. Some days you'll see amazing creatures, other days it may be the blessing of being able to relax without any distractions, and sometimes you'll get lucky and get both.
