The Frazier's Go Abroad!

G'day Mates,

We are going on vacation! Six months ago, we left the mainland to live in Hawaii, and now we are leaving the country for a much needed vacation. We are thrilled for the many experiences that will come from this adventure. This will be Shea's first time leaving the US, our first time backpacking a country together, and the start of our world travels.

The last week of August, we will be traveling to SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA! Yep, you heard right. We are going to be backpacking the Land Down Under, touring the world famous opera house, walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and hanging out with Kangaroos and Koala Bears.

This amazing opportunity was a spur of the moment decision when I found round-trip tickets from Honolulu, Hawaii to Sydney, Australia for just under $300! In unbelief, I screenshotted the deal and immediately texted Shea saying, "BABE, CAN WE GO TO AUSTRALIA IN AUGUST?" Within 3 hours, Shea had confirmed with his Boss the days he needed off, and I had bought us tickets to Australia.

If you know me, you know how much I plan out my life. I am NOT one to be spontaneous or make make last minute decisions and I hate when my plans change. However, when it comes to traveling, I can't help but make spur of the moment decisions and jump on the opportunity to explore a new place.

I'm beyond blessed that Shea is willing and happily goes along with all my crazy ideas! We are both excited to start traveling together and experiencing the world. I will be sure to write and post about our Australian adventure.

Advice from a girl who tries to be spontaneous and go with the flow:
No matter how hard you try, life will never go exactly as you've planned. Be open to new opportunities and make the best of memories, even if that means spur of the moment plane tickets to a new place.
